While this past year saw Virtual Reality become more accessible with the introduction of Google Cardboard and HTC Vive Headsets, the power of this technology has merely scratched the surface.

Matt, our Chief Operating Officer, recently shared the vast possibilities this platform has for Canada in The Huffington Post. From forensic investigations to mental health, it’s clear that VR and AR are disrupting industries well outside of gaming and entertainment.

With so much potential, now is the perfect time to start learning Virtual Reality. There are few industries that are welcoming new talent and ideas like this one, and for those who have always been interested in the field, there’s no better time to get started. The future of tech is here.

Yep, that’s right — 2017 is the year we’re debuting our first Fundamentals of VR, AR, and Mixed Reality course! Launching first in Vancouver and shortly after in Toronto, in this 10-week course you will learn the basics of Unity development, fundamentals of design and experience, storytelling, and content creation for VR. You will also be able to get your hands dirty by working on your own VR project using Google Cardboard. This is the new frontier of design and software development, and this course was created for anybody who is interested in this space and wants to be a part of it.
