On Wednesday 6 September five industry experts joined our panel to discuss breaking into the UX industry, challenges people face, solutions, and top tips.

On our panel, we had Jennifer Quigley-Jones Founder of Digital Voices Ltd, Emem Rita Usanga UX Consultant, Founder of Bnkability, Tom Cotterill User Experience Design Recruiter We Are Source, Nick Jonsson User Experience Architect DigitasLBi and m Woolf – Founder & CEO of EdAid.

The discussion covered important issues such as networking, portfolio building, interview techniques and the best environment to learn. Key advice from the evening was to stay inquisitive, to always ask questions and to show initiative wherever possible and most importantly to never give up!
