I chose the full-time Digital Marketing Professional Program because I didn’t have a marketing background to help me start a career as a digital marketer. I wanted to be taught by industry professionals to build the fundamental skills and knowledge to confidently call myself a digital marketer. The open-space and tech vibe of the school was exactly the environment I wanted to be in.

Our classes are made up of carefully selected students. Class sizes are small, so we strive to only admit students that fit our unique culture. No prior knowledge is required for our courses, but we do consider previous experience and/or a strong interest in your area of study an asset during the admission process. We operate on a rolling admission system, which means we select students who meet our criteria up until the class is full or the registration deadline.
Admission Requirements
- Minimum 19 years of age prior to the start of the study period or graduation from grade 12 (or equivalent)
- An in-person or virtual (Skype) interview (except Part-time programs)
- Pass a program specific assignment (for specific programs only)
- English requirements:
- Duolingo English Test 60 or higher
- TOEFL iBT score of 90 or higher (TOEFL Paper score – 575 or higher)
- IELTS Academic score 6.5 or higher
- Cambridge exam equivalency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
Our Application Process
Step 1 - Online Application Form
Fill out the registration form online for the course of your choice.
Step 2 - Interview
Some programs may require you to attend either an in-person or Skype interview with a program instructor and the admissions team. You’ll have a chance to chat with your potential instructor and ask any questions you may have about the course.
Step 3 - Program Assignment
Some programs may require you to complete a program-specific assignment or test. If this is the case, our instructors will use this to gauge what your starting level may be upon entering the course.
Step 4 - English Test
If English is your second language, we may require you to submit English test results. You must be able to demonstrate a professional working level of spoken and written English for the Canadian job market.
Step 5 - Deposit
Pay your deposit for the program to reserve your seat.
Step 6 - Welcome to the RED Family
It’s time to kick off shoes, relax your feet and show off your fanciest socks.
You’ll be welcomed with everything you need to start your new exciting journey, including your own pair of RED slippers. Let the fun being!
Financing Options
RED suggests applying for a student line of credit from your bank, which can be a low-interest option for a loan. There are also great companies such as Lendful, a Vancouver-based lending company that can provide short-term loans. We are also able to set up payment plans upon acceptance into one of our programs that are based on your financial situation. Speak directly with Admissions for more information on any of these options!
