Excelling in Visual Design

An award winning Visual Designer, Patrick Weberman has received the “2016 Ontario Newspaper Award; John E. Motz Memorial Award for Design and Graphics (over 25,000 circulation) as well as the Award of Excellence from the Society of Newspaper Design”.

Expanding skill set to UX Design

Patrick has had a great deal of hands-on experience in the world of communication. Having worked with everything from print production to video editing and motion graphics, he has expanded his skill set into UX Design.

Using knowledge learned at RED Academy to make a difference

Patrick’s love for creating engaging digital experiences is evident through his portfolio. His strong sense of design coupled with a proven track record has led him to work with Ringside MD, a small startup. The company is driven by a group of young doctors trying to shorten the time required by an employee for taking time off from work to see a doctor. Ringside MD aims to achieve this goal by bringing OHIP registered physicians right to the door of a workplace.

Through evaluation of the existing landing pages and business strategy, and offering suggestions from the UX toolkit developed at RED Academy’s UX Design Program, Patrick is now leading the UX/UI design of Ringside MD’s mobile application.
